About
Planting the seed of love for culture and
Mexican traditions in new generations.
We are a non-profit, traditional Folklore dance group located in Kent, WA. Our goal is to teach and connect with our culture through Folklore so that youth from our community can learn about the love, knowledge and discipline our ancestors endured for their art.
Folklore Mexicano Tonantzin is much more than just a dance group, we are a family! Together we've performed at many community events like: Las Fiesta Patrias at the Washington State Fair, the Tacoma Mosaic Festival, the Tricities Mariachi & More Festival, Emerald Downs special events and many more!
We believe in creating a space for our dancers to laugh, bond and create unforgettable memories. This is why we plan special outings like camping trips, group picnics, and other bonding events. These activities give us the opportunity to build lifelong friendships.
